So looks like Ryan likes his new 2008 R6! Looks like he got in the 1:32's and at this pace he is gonna make the national grid - now you are only 6 secs
behind T. Hayden, Yates, and DiSalvo. Looks like he placed 7th to 8th place in his races. To put this in perspective, he would have placed higher in the
"A" races which are big bike classes - awesome considering the track is favorable in the straights for bigger bikes. Hell yeah Ryan! Congrats on
the consistency and improvements. You know I am not one to say it, but this is an exception - I told you so - there's nothing like a YAMAHA!!!!!
Bootie, plenty of bootie!

Wow.. Just wow.
Great pace Ryan.. Does that mean he can make the AMA grid in April? |

Well it all depends on how many expert points Ryan has. I believe the golden # is 300. With that, you can begin your AMA licensing.
He will most likely go for the pro expert license because only the very top tier riders get a pro superbike license which means he has to be no more than 5 to 6 secs (110%) off the front runners (Spies and Mladin). I believe that if club racing organizers or directors advocate on behalf of the rider by giving that rider a "club" pro license and can say "this rider is running great times at this particular course, here they are" the 300 point requirement could be waived - but I am not too sure about that. Bootie, plenty of bootie!

By the way, Sat was a crash fest. Heard a lot of issues were going on Sat. Anyways, this guy is letting traffic through while on the ground.

Nope. I am sure if it was, it would be all over the WSMC unofficial website.

Woohoo! What's up everybody! Thanks so much...and yes Javi, the bike is dope! haaha. The bike is very promising and I'm doing a lot of new training and
trying to get plenty of seat time so I'm at the top again and will run competitively once I race the AMAs. That pic I believe is my friend Terry Heard. I
didn't know he slid that race.
Thanks guys! I'll keep everyone updated on my progress for sure. Send me your email addresses so I can add you to my website mailing list. I haven't updated the site yet where you can subscribe yourself, I will be doing so soon though. |

Oh crap, you are absolutely right! That's Terry. I was thinking as I read your post, "no Ryan, Terry is Black!" Then I realized he's a light
brotha! Damn, it is him and for a split sec when I first saw the pic I thought it was him because I didn't know that "John Burr Motorcycles" had
another road racer. You can barely make out the "BURR" on the front of his leathers.
Shit, I gotta call him back. He's been trying to get a hold of me. Bootie, plenty of bootie!

Talked with Terry yesterday and he had not seen the pic yet. So he looked here and finally saw it for the first time. He's doing well, despite being
knocked out. Yep, it was his first time being knocked out and he also had some sore ribs. I asked if they were broken and he said he wasn't sure but they
hurt like hell. He did see a Doc, but I guess no x-rays were taken of his rib cage.
He is recovering and just like me his crash is setting him back financially. He asked me if I am giving up the racing, and I said, "the only thing stopping me from racing is $ right now." I said, "what about you?" and he replied, "you know I was actually thinking of giving it up [I thought the same thing waiting in the hospital that night after I crashed], but who am I kiddn'? It's in me." Exactly, who am I kiddn?! Bootie, plenty of bootie!
