Well, finally got off my arse and rode my first race. First time at Button Willow to so it was an adventure. Went up Thursday night for the TI2TT trackday on
Friday. Started out in A group and then rode both A and B just to get more time on the track. Big Josh (BearKat) drove up with both bikes and was pretty
quick out there. Saturday Big Josh went out, got his WERA license and won his mock race :bow I ran both practice sessions but still had problems with turn 2
and AFM corner. Sunday was a little better but still couldn't quite get turn 2 down. My race was the 2nd one (A Superstock Novice) and I was gridded 10th
(no points and no pre- reg). Since it was my first ever race on a track that's new to me I took it easy up to turn one. Amazingly enough, turn two just
came to me and it was perfect (enough so that I shaved 3 seconds off my best time). Accomplished everything I set out to do. Finished 11th (out of 13
